G adventures arrangements are A1. The vessel, the accommodation, the crew, the food, the complete organisation was so professional. They even arranged a truly memorable Drake Crossing for us! Not knowing a lot about Antarctic history, I was truly thrilled and impressed with the stories of early exploration days. The various lectures, Antarctic, photography, birds, environment were interesting, informative and well suited to the mixed age group of guests on board. A truly awe-inspiring and memorable trip.

Helen and I are very HAPPY to say we enjoyed our trip to ANTARCTICA immensely. Not our cheapest holiday by any means (still getting over the shock of Premium Economy). However, well worth the price.

Although we were unable to do everything the tour offered, we still had a great time with what we managed to do. G Expeditions have a really good thing going; I only wish we had done this trip a few years ago, when we were much younger and fitter. The staff (crew of the ship), the expedition team, ship, and hotel were all first class and made it possible for us to enjoy ourselves so much.

Food was some of the best we have had at sea and on land – Chef did such a good job feeding 140+ people, including a number of American youngsters, who never seemedto stop eating ordrinking and having a great time. They were also very respectfulof us older generation, and willing to help as required.

We had 2 absolutely wonderful days, (the rest were just wonderful) when we had very calm and sunny days, making the Zodiac tour just perfect. I was very fortunate to not need any motion sickness medication (must be in the genes), even when returning to Ushuaia across the Drake Passage, when seas were a wee bit rough (worst in 8 years, we were told!) Hope they replace the plates which took on a new roleas IFOs (Identifiable flying objects). Don’t want to put any one off; it was only a hiccup on such a great experience.

To sum up …… would I do it again? ……….. Absolutely YES, with my own rider, I would get myself fitter, so I could enjoy everything it has to offer.
