We Are Always Here For You! An update – 12 May 2020

It’s been a tough year for everyone and here at Hampton Travel  & Cruise we have been adapting to continue to provide the best possible service to keep our clients informed and up-to-date with the latest rules that relate to their reservations. The airlines, hoteliers and suppliers have continually changed the cancellation conditions which has made it difficult to navigate the correct path for each client; but we are doing our utmost to assist.

As a result of the office fire on14January, we have had to make a temporary relocation to 407 Hampton Street. But now, as a result of the Covid-19 situation, we have decided not to renew the lease and all Consultants have been working from home from 10May.

The consultants will reply within 24 hours of receiving the email.

The office phone number – 03 9521 9339 – remains the same and is diverted to Managing Director, Gary Seignior.

Currently for the clients who have requested that their airfares be placed in for refunds, the expected time for the refunds to be processed is up to twelve weeks from the date of request. The refund will be by the airline to the original form of payment so those who paid on credit card, please regularly check your statement. If your payment was via cheque or EFT to our agency, we will refund the money to your bank account once the refund has been received.

With cruises and tours, the Consultants will advise the respective suppliers’ policy and liaise with the client to decide the best course of action to take. I trust this has already taken place in most cases. For those who still need clarification, please contact your Consultant via email ASAP.

We are very proud about how the Consultants have handled themselves through this difficult period and will continue to do so for the months ahead.

In the coming weeks it appears that the travel restrictions will be eased and we may all be able to travel within our beautiful country and we hope that you will think of our agency when you are looking for inspiration as our Consultants will be ready and raring to assist.
